EC Pro 2009: SQL Error - server does not exist or access denied

Issue:  After you have upgraded to EnergyCAP Professional 2009, you start up EnergyCAP and you get an error from SQL stating that your server doesn't exist or you don't have access rights.

Solution: Close EnergyCAP and open the SQL Server Configuration Manager.  This can be found by going to Start > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2005 > Configuration Tools > SQL Server Configuration Manager.  Once you are in the configuration manager, select the SQL Server 2005 Netowrk Configuation, than highlight Protocols for MSSQLSERVER.  In the right hand pane you should see four (4) things: Shared Memory, Named Pipes, TCP/IP, and VIA.  Of those four (4) items, three (3) of them need to be "Enabled".  And that would be Shared Memory, Named Pipes, and TCP/IP enabled.  When you enable them, you will get a pop message stating that this will not take effect until you re-start the service.  Once you have them enabled, go back to the left hand pane, select SQL Server 2005 Services.  Now in the right hand pane select SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) and right mouse click on it.  Do either "Restart" or "Start" the service.  Once you have done this and the service is back up and running, you should be able to login to EnergyCAP Professional now.
