Bill CAPture - Kickout Reprocess is redirecting to EnergyCAP home page

ISSUE: Clicking the reprocess button from Bill CAPture kickout emails or from within the Bill CAPture portal redirects users to the EnergyCAP home page.

SOLUTION: This issue exists due to a recent update requiring users to authenticate in the Bill CAPture portal by entering their credentials before kicking off the reprocessing of a batch.

The steps to take to correct this issue are as follows:

  • Clear your browser history/cache
    • This link provides instructions for clearing your cache based on the browser you are using
  • Close your browser window and reopen it
  • Proceed by clicking the reprocess button and entering your credentials at the prompt from the Bill CAPture portal

 

After authentication, you will see the same Thank you for using EnergyCAP Bill CAPture screen as you have seen in the past.

If you are still having issues, try using your browser in “incognito” or “private” mode by choosing that option in your browser setting often indicated by 3 dots on the top right side of your browser.
