EC Enterprise: Duplicate Commodities and or Observation Types

Problem: Commodities Problem: When viewing the Unit System or Template Manager, you notice that there are duplicate Commodities listed. If you have not created any new meters for these commodities, you can run the script referenced in this article to remove the newly added duplicate commodities. If you HAVE or THINK YOU MAY HAVE created new meters assigned to one of the duplicate commodities, then submit a Help Ticket explaining the situation. Technical Support may require a backup of your database to verify if you are able to run the script or if more advanced assistance is needed. The new commodities that were added in the DB64 upgrade are: DIESEL, WATERSEWER, IRRIGATION, STORMDRAIN, INTERNET, CABLE Observation Type Problem: When viewing the Unit System, you notice that there are duplicate Observation Types listed. If you meet the following conditions, you can run the script referenced in this article to remove the newly added duplicate observation types. If you don't meet the conditions below, then submit a Help Ticket explaining the situation. If you meet these conditions regarding Observation Types, you can run the SQL script:
The new Observation Types that were added in the DB64 upgrade are: INFO_COST, INFO_USE, INFO_DEMAND, COMMODITYTAX, COMMODITYCHARGE, CONSUMPTIONCHARGE, DEMANDCHARGE, CONSUMPTNTAX, DEMANDTAX Solution: The following SQL Script will delete DUPLICATE Commodities that were created by the Upgrade Script. It will also delete DUPLICATE Observation Types that were created by the Upgrade Script. And it will delete Templates that are either linked to the newly created DUPLICATE Commodities or have template lines that are linked to the newly created DUPLICATE Observation Types.
