EC PRO: Bill Dates Change On Their Own

Issue: When entering bills in EnergyCAP Professional, the dates appear to change on their own.

Solution: This is Windowsissue relating to date formats, not an EnergyCAP Professional issue.

  1. Close EnergyCAP.
  2. Go to the WindowsControl Panel and select Regional & Language Options. The Regional and Language Options window will open.
  3. Under the Regional Options tab, click the Customize... button. The Customize Regional Options window will open.
  4. Select the Date tab.
  5. Change the date format for the computer to MM/dd/yyyy.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click OK to close the Customize Regional Options window and click OK again to exit the Regional and Language Options window. This will apply the changes to the user computer.
  8. Open EnergyCAP Professional and resume bill entry.

NOTE: If the EnergyCAP database is located on a server computer rather than the user's local PC, then the above fix will need to be applied to the server computer as well.
