EC Online - EnergyCAP has frozen/locked up

ISSUE: While pulling reports or navigating through EnergyCAP Online using Google Chrome, the application freezes and I am unable to click on anything and must close out.

 

RESOLUTION: This is an issue with Google Chrome. With one of the latest updates to Google Chrome, the GPU Acceleration was updated. This is causing EnergyCAP to lockup when memory usage has hit the maximum. There are a few ways to "unlock" EnergyCAP Online:

1.       Reload EnergyCAP by logging out and logging back in.

2.       Right click on the page, choose Settings (see attachment Flash Settings.png). A small "Adobe Flash Player Settings" window will pop-up. If you click through the tabs, no need to change settings, and click close, it will refresh without logging you out. 

3.       Open Developer Tools (see attachment Developer Tools.png), go to the "Elements" tab, and simply mouse over the HTML on the page. Then close the Developer Tools.
