ECO - EnergyCAP Online not showing any data on bill

EnergyCAP Online is showing a "blank" bill when opening the bill, there is no data showing on the bill at all. But data exist, if using Enterprise, you can see the bill data when opening a bill. 


This is common if you do not have a billing address for the vendor or if it is set to physical. EnergyCAP Online requires a billing address for the vendor. There is a limit on the bill entry screen to only display the vendor “billing” address if it exists. If it is set to physical or isn't there, the query then isn’t returning the full XML needed to draw the bill entry screen.

  • Open Enterprise, go to the meter for the bills in question
  • Click on the vendor link in the general tab, this will open the vendor properties dialog box
  • Change the address to be 'billing' and give it an address. 
  • Click OK, at which point, you can check Online and you should be able to view the bill.
