EC Enterprise - Error message related to Catalog Service URL when opening EnergyCAP Enterprise
Posted by Joel Brickell on 06 April 2015 11:52 AM

Issue - When I open EnergyCAP Enterprise I am getting a message - "There is an error with your Catalog Service URL"

Resolution - There was a Customer Service Message (CSM) that was emailed out on 03/03/2015 and an updated one on 03/20/2015 advising that we would be upgrading the databases and that there ECI-Hosted clients would need to upgrade to Enterprise 6.3 SP3.  Please see CSM below from 03/03/2015.

Dear EnergyCAP User,

We notified you at the end of last year that the newest releases of our software (Enterprise 6.3 SP3 and Online 3.3) contain important security updates. Because of these updates, these newest versions of each software need to be installed together for each to function correctly.

Enterprise 6.3 SP3 is now available, so please make the necessary preparations for your IT resources to perform the upgrade. For more information, review the installation documentation and release notes.

ECI-hosted users MUST upgrade their version of EnergyCAP Enterprise to ensure continued access to their hosted data:

  • Hosted users who are currently in the IMPLEMENTATION PHASE (and access their data at staging.energycap.com) need to have Enterprise 6.3 SP3 installed by THURSDAY, MARCH 5. We will be upgrading our databases on staging to Online 3.3 the following day.
  • Hosted users who have ALREADY BEEN IMPLEMENTED (and access their data at web.energycap.com) need to have Enterprise 6.3 SP3 installed by THURSDAY, MARCH 26. We will be upgrading our databases on web to Online 3.3 the following day.

You may be the only individual from your organization to receive this notification, so please notify respective users.

Please note that some of the current features require additional purchase. If you are interested in learning more about them or if you’d like for us to host your database you can contact Sales@EnergyCAP.com.

If you have any questions or need installation assistance, please submit a ticket at http://support.energycap.com.
