EC Online: The web browser just keeps spinning or shows busy when viewing EnergyCAP Online

Issue: EnergyCAP Online won’t run on my iOS (iPad/iPhone), Android device, or other mobile device.

Solution: Most mobile devices do not natively support Flash Player. Since EnergyCAP Online is Flash-based, you will not be able to natively access the website on your mobile device.

You should be able to install a browser that supports Flash Player on your device. EnergyCAP, Inc. does not support mobile devices. You will need to contact your IT staff if you need assistance with this. Below are a few options for browsers that support Flash Player.

iOS (iPad/iPhone): Puffin Web Browser, Photon Flash Player

Android: FlashFox – Flash Browser, Puffin Web Browser

Windows Surface: Flash player should now be supported on Windows 8 tablets. Please see the following page if you’re having issues with the Flash Player on your Windows 8 device:

If you have a platform other than one listed above or the options do not work for you, please seek out assistance from your IT staff.

Some of these apps may not be free. There may also be other options available and you’re welcome to find the one that works best for you.

With some Flash-supported browsers, there may be additional downloads or certain browser settings required to get the browser to work properly with the Flash Player. You will need to view the app’s help manual or contact the developer of the app for assistance with this.
