User is unable to run reports in EnergyCAP Pro due to an error indicating connection or login issues to the database.
Have the user test the ecuser and ecsysadmin logins to the SQL 2005 or SQL 2000 server by attempting to create a new ODBC Data Source from the machine having the connection issue to the SQL Server hosting the database.

ecsysadmin / $H3ph3rd
When a user experiences a login issue (reports related or otherwise), it is prudent to follow these steps:
1. Verify that the user has both the SQL Server driver and SQL Native Client driver (can verify in the process of creating a new ODBC connection). The SQL Native Client should be able to connect to a SQL 2000 or a SQL 2005 database, but the SQL Server driver may be able to connect to JUST a SQL 2000 server.
2. Verify that the ecuser and ecsysadmin both have access privileges to the EnergyCAP Pro database. The access privileges don't need to be extensive, just 'public'. Also make sure the Pro 08 database name begins with 'ec_'
3. Verify the passwords match those indicated above.
By following these steps, the connection issue should be resolved.
