EC Pro: Error Message When attempting to Backup My Database

Issue: When I run a back up on my database, I get an error message "backup failed, please restart program".

Solution: Open EnergyCAP Professional using the initials "SYS". Then go to File > Detach Database or Delete Database. In the new windows drop box, look and see if there are two (2) databases named the same as yours. 

Example: YourSchoolDatabase and YourSchoolDatabase_bk

If you see one that does have the _bk attached to it, attempt to detach first and if you can't detach, than delete that one. Once you have done this. Log back into EnergyCAP Professional as your normal user initials and attempt to back up your database now. 

If you have attempted this solution and it still fails or you are unsure about doing this task, contact EnergyCAP Support by either going to the Support site (http://support.energycap.com) and submit a trouble ticket.
